Based predominantly in the cultural haven of Reykjavík, our holidays not only the introduce you to the incomparable natural aspects of this area but also the cosmopolitan delights this modern city has to offer. Take part in organised excursions such as whale watching and snorkelling and truly embrace the experience with an exhilarating ice-climbing expedition. One of the most renowned sites you will visit is the Blue Lagoon, a geothermal pool which is reported to have therapeutic qualities. There will also be time to indulge in independent activities during our adventure breaks in Iceland, providing you with the opportunity to explore the wonders of the city, discovering a mix of culinary and cultural gems along the way.

Day 1 -
Fly to Iceland
Landing at Keflavík Airport, you will be transported to Iceland’s capital, Reykjavík, where your adventure begins. Explore the city at leisure before retiring for the evening in preparation for tomorrow’s activities.
Day 2 -
Glacier Tour, Ice Climbing and Skógafoss
Today includes an exciting expedition to the dominating magnificence of the Sólheimajökull glacier. During our adventure breaks in Iceland you will also have the chance to experience ice climbing: scaling vast sheets of ice in stunning locations. On the return journey to Reykjavík, take in the glorious sight of the cascading Skógafoss waterfall.

Day 3 -
River Rafting and the Golden Circle
Today, your exhilarating adventure sees you embark on a river rafting session upon the Hvíta River. The latter part of the day takes you on a tour of the Golden Circle. Marvel at the fascinating beauty spots of this area, including the thundering waters of Europe’s largest waterfall, Gullfoss, and the dramatic, steaming jets of Strokkur.

Day 4 -
Whale Watching and the Blue Lagoon
During the fourth day of one of our adventure breaks in Iceland you will enjoy a trip to the city’s harbour side for a whale watching safari. As well as the minke and humpback varieties that visit the shores, you will be in the ideal position to spot several species of Reykjavík’s beautiful birds. Today you will also have the opportunity to experience the soothing waters of the Blue Lagoon.

Day 5 -
Lave Fields and Snorkelling
Today you will peruse lava fields on horseback and be completely enveloped in the beautiful vistas of Mount Helgafell. You'll also enjoy a relaxing but exotic snorkelling trip under a UNESCO world heritage site.

Day 6 -
Volcanic Caves
Further unique adventures greet you on the penultimate day of your travels. Explore the incredible interiors of the Leidarendi lava cave, which is found in an active volcano area

Rafting, Snowmobiling and Langjökull Glacier
Take on the rapids of the Hvíta River once more and enjoy rafting among its waves. This afternoon our adventure breaks in Iceland sees you rushing though the stunning white landscapes on an hour-long snowmobile ride across the Langjökull glacier

Day 8 -
Return Home
Leaving Reykjavík with lifelong memories, an abundance of tales for friends back home and a thirst for further adventure breaks in Iceland, transfer to the airport for your journey home.
