Day 1 - Arrive in Iceland
Collect your hire car and make your way to your accommodation in South Iceland where you will spend the following two nights. With plenty of natural wonders in this area, you have the perfect base from which to explore on your Iceland self drive holiday.

Day 2 - The Golden Circle
Three incredible natural wonders make up Iceland’s popular Golden Circle tour. See Geysir Hot Springs, the mighty Gullfoss Waterfall and the historic Þingvellir National Park where you will see evidence of the tectonic activity that has shaped the country over thousands of years. Afterwards, continue your Iceland self drive holiday to Reykjavík where you will spend the night. Make the most of your final evening by enjoying the lively nightlife that the city has to offer.

Day 3 - Explore South Iceland
Spend today driving around the breathtaking sights that South Iceland has to offer. We recommend seeing the glaciers of Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull which make excellent places for a leisurely hike. The beaches in South Iceland are stunning too with their rugged cliffs and black volcanic sands, and a stroll along the coast is a great way to stretch your legs and spot seabirds. Several impressive waterfalls can be found in this area and are ideal picnic spots.

Day 4 - Departure
After breakfast make your way to the airport, return your hire car and catch your onward flight.
