Day 1 - Arrive in Iceland
Travel by Flybus from Keflavík International Airport to Reykjavík, where you will spend the evening. Take in the local sights before retiring to your accommodation.
Day 2 - West Coast Fishing villages
Kick off your Northern Lights photo tour with a journey through some of Iceland’s most incredible scenery as you travel to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. This stunning region of Iceland is home to volcanic terrains, mountains and seashores and offers exceptional opportunities to photograph the landscape of this unique country. Spend most of your day in the charming village of Grundafjörður and enjoy unrivalled views of Breiðafjörður Bay and Mount Kirkjufell. Day 3 - Saga Land
Return to the Snæfellsnes Peninsla today for another day filled with incredible photography opportunities. After a visit to the fishing town of Stykkishólmur, locally known as the ‘Captial of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula’, your Northern Lights photo tour will travel along the north coast of this captivating region of Iceland. Visit the beautiful Swan Fjord en route and capture this breathtaking location on camera before journeying on to Haukadalur. Explore the replica homestead of ancient Icelandic explorer Eirik the Red, founder of Iceland’s Greenland colony. This farm is now a Viking museum and offers a fascinating insight into this ancient culture on your tour of Iceland.
In the evening, arrive at the Vogur Country Lodge where you will spend the following two nights of your Northern Lights photo tour. Day 4 - The West Fjords

Day 5 - Volcanoes, Hot Springs and Waterfalls
Iceland hosts a landscape of contradicting natural phenomena. Volcanoes reside beside gushing waterfalls and even in winter, the steaming waters of hot springs inhabit snow-laden terrains. At Hraunfossar, view its collection of waterfalls cascading into the Hvítá River. As night descends, slip into the hotel’s outdoor hot tub and enjoy the effervescing bubbles as you look out for the glow of the Aurora.Meals included:Breakfast, Dinner
Day 6 - The Golden Circle
A trilogy of delights awaits as we tour Iceland’s Golden Circle. First we travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Þingvellir National Park before embarking on a journey east to the hot springs and the impressive erupting Strokkur. The final stop on today’s Golden Circle photo tour in Iceland is at the twin falls of Gullfoss. Day 7 - The Blue Lagoon, Hot Springs and Reykjavík
The penultimate day of the Northern Lights photo tour is filled with scenic wonder as we absorb the beauty of local villages, hot springs and lighthouses. Far from the tourist paths, you can enjoy the chance to photograph the remote landscapes before arriving at the world-famous Blue Lagoon. Immerse yourself in the heat of its comforting waters, which are said to have therapeutic benefits.
