Day 1 - Arrive in Stavanger
Once you arrive in Norway you'll pick up your rental car and check in at the airport hotel. Be sure to get a good night's rest in preparation for the first hiking challenge tomorrow!
Day 2 - Pulpit Rock
Today on the walking holiday in Norway you will head to Jørpeland where visitors go each year to see the Pulpit Rock, one of the country’s most popular attractions. The towering plateau rises an incredible 604 metres from the sea and offers mountain and fjord views. The walk is exceptionally scenic but strong footwear is highly recommended.

Day 3 - Kjerag Rock
Make your way to Lysebotn, a picturesque village in southwest Norway. Here you can ascend the Kjerag Rock to its plateau, one of the most remarkable natural structures on the walking holiday in Norway which is popular with base jumpers. If you are feeling courageous once at the summit, step onto the Kjerag Boulder which is lodged in a gap between the rocks. You will set out from the Øygardstølen restaurant and hike over rolling terrain.

Day 4 - Stavanger to Hardangerfjord
Today you will travel to Hardangerfjord on your walking holiday in Norway. Journey along the National Tourist Route Ryfykle and enjoy the sights of Norway as you drive. You can stop off at a number of locations on the way, from the Stave Church for an intriguing exploration to Gloppefoss if you want to enjoy another hike today. Arrive at your hotel later on and settle in for the night, ready for another day's adventures tomorrow.

Day 5 - Folgefonna Glacier
This morning, make your way to Folgefonna Glacier where you will be given safety instructions before setting foot onto the ice. A professional guide will escort you on the tour, showing you the best way to scale Norway’s third largest glacier. Venture to the blue ice and look out over the Harndangerfjord Mountain Plateau from the summit of Folgefonna. Learn about the history of this enormous natural structure and perhaps have a go at ice climbing.

Day 6 - Trolltunga (The Troll's Tongue
Depart your hotel and head for Skjeggedal. You may want to get an early start as today’s hike takes around 8-10 hours. Follow the signposted path that runs alongside the Mágelibanen funicular. When you reach the top of the Troll’s Tongue you will understand why it features on the Big Five Walking Holiday in Norway. The protruding rock juts out over a beautiful fjord and the panorama is breathtaking.

Day 7 - Langfoss Waterfall
Drive to this wonderful waterfall and explore this breathtaking area. Although Langfoss is only the fifth tallest waterfall in Norway, its height and width combined are really impressive. It has also been voted as one of the world’s ten most beautiful falls.
Later today on the Big Five Walking Holiday in Norway, travel by car to Stavanger where you will stay for the final night of your tour.

Day 8 - Flight Home
