Beginning in Tromsø and travelling via Trondheim to Bergen, the voyage enables you to explore the interesting traditions of the indigenous Sámi people, whose roots are deeply embedded in the history of Norway. Days 1 to 2 - Photography Course in Tromsø
Take in the sights of the city before taking part in a photography workshop, which includes how to apply specific methods to photograph the Northern Lights. Later on in the evening you will have the opportunity to use these techniques when we embark on a Northern Lights safari. During this time you can enjoy snacks and beverages as you look to the night skies for the dance of the Aurora. The second day of the photography voyage can be spent enjoying a husky ride, embarking on a snowmobile excursion or exploring the city at leisure.Meals included:Dinner
Day 3 - Lofoten Islands
As we sail past this collection of picturesque islands, absorb the sight of birds perched on the rugged coastline and use your newly acquired skills to photograph the majestic mountain landscapes.Meals included:Breakfast, Dinner
Day 4 - Seven Sisters
Today on the photography voyage, we cross the Arctic Circle and travel to the Seven Sisters mountain range which provides ample material for interesting pictures. Stand out on deck and be enthralled by the undulating terrains of Norway’s coastal scenery.Meals included:Breakfast, Dinner
Day 5 - Trondheim
As we enter the harbour at Trondheim, we traverse from natural beauty to man-made marvels in this medieval city. Adding an alternative dimension to the digital photography voyage, Trondheim is awash with historic buildings and cobbled pathways lined with ancient buildings. Enjoy a guided tour of Nidaros Cathedral and photograph its impressive exterior. In the evening, peruse the skies once again in the hope of witnessing the alluring lights of the Aurora Borealis.Meals included:Breakfast, Dinner
Day 6 - Arrive in Bergen
Bergen is the final destination on the photography voyage and is a fascinating city famous for the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bryggen Wharf. The wharf boasts boutiques, artist studios, restaurants and workshops, so why not have a look before making your way to the airport for your flight home?Meals included:Breakfast
